Initiation to Teaching Scholarship Program (PIBID)
The Initiation to Teaching Scholarship Program (PIBID) is a national program aimed at encouraging and valuing the teaching profession and improving teacher education for basic education.
PIBID offers scholarships to undergraduate teacher education students to engage in pedagogical activities at public schools, thereby contributing to the integration of theory and practice, closer collaboration between universities and schools, and the improvement of the quality of Brazilian education.
