Tutorial Education Program (PET)
The Tutorial Education Program (PET) is a Brazilian academic program coordinated by the Ministry of Education. It is organized into groups linked to undergraduate programs, in which students develop teaching, research and outreach activities under the supervision of a faculty tutor.
Created in 1979, the program aims to engage participating students in a comprehensive educational experience, providing them with a broad and in-depth understanding of their field of study.
UFSC has more than 20 PET groups across its campuses.
The Local Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (CLAA) monitors and evaluates the PET groups at UFSC.
